Van Persie Returns To Training; Future To Be Sorted By Saturday

Well, I guess you can add “he trains where he wants” to Robin van Persie’s repertoire as he returned to training at Arsenal the other day.  The Mirror says he was “all smiles” as he returned, which, I guess is something he shouldn’t have been?  I assume since he is possibly leaving he was supposed to come into training all surly & kicking puppies & shooting icy glares at the janitors & generally being a John Terry-like cunt sleeping with all his teammates’ girlfriends or something.  Alas, no.  He was just a human being returning to training with a smile on his face.  Sort it out, RvP!

Speaking of sorting it out, Arsène Wenger has set a Saturday deadline to sort out RvP’s future, so if there’s a new deal to sign or if he is to be sold, the decision to do so has three days to happen.  Not sure how this will work since no formal bids from either Juventus or Manchester City have taken place, so I don’t know if Wenger means van Persie is to be sold by Saturday or just that the decision to re-sign or place him on the transfer list has to be done by Saturday.  Obviously, we’ll know what’ll happen by whether or not RvP makes the trip to Malaysia with the rest of the squad.

Elsewhere, Schalke’s Lewis Holtby has emerged as a possible transfer target for Arsenal if Walcott follows suit & doesn’t want to re-sign with Arsenal.  I don’t know much about him as I’ve never seen him play & to be honest, I only know that he was a German U-21 international & that he has an Irish or English father or something which is why he is named Lewis Holtby & not Ludwig Holtbein/Holtstein or something more Teutonic sounding.

Also, Arsenal will allegedly lodge a €6 million bid for Caen’s 17-year old Mbaye Niang because those spoiled rich cocks up in the Middle Eastlands are beginning to sniff around wanting to sign him.  What can you say about Mansour City anymore?  They buy everybody worth a damn and then have the audacity to plagiarise your scouting network. “Oh, Arsenal like this kid? We must buy him! Saves us the scouting fees!”  With no due respect to you, Mansour City, eat a fat dick!

Finally, Carlos Vela has made his move to Real Sociedad official.  The chip shot wonder now returns to Socieded where he had a pretty succesful campaign last season & La Liga will probably suit his style better for Vela’s career in the long run anyway.  Not much call in the Premier League for a striker who likes to score chipped goals while up 3-1, 4-1, these days.

Au revoir, dudes.
