Kévin Mirallas To Arsenal?

Belgian-Greek striker, Kévin Mirallas, of Greek side Olympiakos is the latest to be linked with Arsenal.  Mirallas has been with Olympiakos for two years following his move from Ligue 1 side, AS Saint-Étienne.  He has a decent goals return record for Olympiakos (34 in 52 league games) & Liverpool are also reportedly to be interested, so it remains to be seen if this is honest interest or just a rumor signing.

I know I usually LMAO at this kind of “scouting” but that’s normally when people quote FIFA ratings since that’s a game you control, but I manage/d Mirallas at AS Saint-Étienne on Football Manager 2009 & he was a decent player although he was my #3 striker behind Bafétimbi Gomis & Jozy Altidore.  Laugh all you want at Altidore but I had turned him into a “wunderkind” on FM09, so, eat it.

In the game & in real life he can play on the wings or in the central striker spot & has a bit of pace about him & has decent skills.  Mirallas is a Belgian international with 27 caps, so it’s not like he’s a no-talent-ass-clown.  It would be the kind of “under the radar” signing Arsène Wenger is known for, so there may be something to this one if van Persie is sold.  Stay tuned, Gunners.

Is Mirallas on the Wenger under-the-radar radar?
