From this Daily Mail article the other day, it now seems Alex Song may be a transfer target for Barcelona.  I guess it was only a matter of time before the annual Barcelona soft tapping up of an Arsenal player began.

Every summer it’s either Mansour €ity or Barcelona, or both, who engage in this “oh, so & so (Arsenal player) would be a good addition to our squad if he were to buy him.”  And thus, these cock clubs get around the rules of tapping up players who are under contract with us.  I have no issue with a club with more money buying a player of ours, however, do it like it’s supposed to be done.  Not with this underhanded, juvenile “come play with us!,” between-the-lines in an article bullshit.

Am I supposed to be so stupid to believe that a Spanish paper just randomly prints a fact-file & then asks a Barca player about Alex Song, who still has two years left on his contract?  I say, “bullshit.”  They’re tapping up through their in-cahoots paper & it happens every summer.  It’ll get to the point where we’ll have to renegotiate contracts every year to get people to stay lest the cocks at €ity & Barca continue to do this. Every. God damn. Year.

Anyway, Celtic ‘keeper Victor Wanyama may be on the radar for us, but as always, he’s also a possible target for one of those pains in the ass from Manchester.  Don’t know anything about him, not even from Football Manager games, but he must be at least decent for a #2 if he’s employed by Celtic, I guess.

Park may be on his way to Blackburn.  Completely bizarre what has happened with this guy in the last two years.  Captain of decent Asian side to military dodging, can’t-even-make-the-bench striker.  Hopefully, it’s a permanent move.  Thanks for the shirt sales, have a nice life, don’t let the door hit you on the ass on the way out…

We may also be in for Lyon defender Mamadou Sakho, but this report comes from TalkSport, kings of the wind-up, so I’m not holding my breathe, especially as we’ll be facing competition for him if we’re interested.  In fact, this article doubts we’ll be able to sign him at all.  So, make of it all what you will.

Finally, maybe some good news, as The Mirror claims, the Santi Cazorla & Nuri Şahin deals are both to be done in the next forty-eight hours.  Supposedly.  Allegedly.  Maybe…

I’ll be out of town in San Francisco through the weekend, so you’ll have to get your Arsenal (& LSU [LSU football players reported yesterday! Woo! Geaux Tigers!]) drivel somewhere else for the next few days.  Or you can stare longingly at archived articles if you wish.
